Films We Love :: A Banksy Film – Exit Through the Gift Shop

Banksy. Feature Film. Sundance!
It’s official, Marc + Sara of Wooster Collective, who were fortunate to get a sneak peek of the film,  have said “it’s absolutely brilliant.” Judging by the trailer, it looks like the transition from street to silver screen has been a seamless one.

Any film that opens on a mash-up Paramount Pictures logo to read “Paranoid Pictures” being shot at, is the kind of film I wanna see. Other street art legends such as Shepard Fairey + Invader make cameos on rooftops at night doing what they do best. Hopefully this will be screening in NYC soon, when we hear the word, we’ll let you know. Until then…

The rumors are indeed true. Banksy’s first film will premier to the public for the first time at the Sundance Film Festival. We’ve seen it and, yes, it’s absolutely brilliant.
