sites we love :: create your own flower mandala

Although I don’t think it was ZeFrank.com‘s intent for his flowers to become mandalas, that’s exactly what came to mind when I was making these flowers on the site. Mandalas are “geometric designs symbolizing the universe and used in Hinduism & Buddhism as an aid to meditation.” They are sometimes meticulously created  with tinted sand as a meditation on impermanence.

This is a simple practice to experience a meditation on color, shapes and a fun way to do something creative online.
