Screenings We Love :: Derailments @ TIFF

I love seeing friends do it big especially when it comes to premiering their short doc, Derailments, at TIFF – the Toronto International Film Festival. Derailments is a film directed by Chelsea McMullan and produced by Fabrica, Derek Howard and our friend, Omid Fatemi. It recounts the first hand story of Milo Manara, the illustrator who transformed Federico Fellini’s unmade film, Il Viaggio di Mastorna (Mastorna’s Journey), into a graphic novel shortly before Fellini’s death. The Derailments trailer can be seen here. If you’re in TO tonight, Friday 9, 2011, get some tickets here and enjoy it as part of SCC: Programme 4. – Moni Vargas
