Animation We Love :: Destino, Dali & Disney

This short animated film began as a collaboration between Salvador Dali & Walt Disney in 1946. It wasn’t until 2003 that it was finally finished and released to the public by Roy Disney, Walt’s nephew and head of the animation division at the time. Destino is full of Dali’s reoccurring themes of time, identity and transformation all expressed via signature imagery and characters. If you’re familiar with Dali’s work, it will be fascinating to see it come to life. – Moni Pineda
