Videos We Love :: Plato’s The Cave

Plato was  centuries ahead of his time. In the allegory of The Cave, Plato describes how our perspective of reality could be easily influenced through the senses while truth is found through reason.

How deeply does the illusion created in media affect our understanding of the world around us?  In yogic tradition, the “guru” is that which brings you from darkness to light. What or whom is your “guru”?

This animated version of The Cave is not only entertaining but also remarkably enlightening. Enjoy!

I think it follows the reality in which TV (The Cave) creates.
Please check out my “Unplug the Signal” campaign. I think after you read my articles and view my work you will see the connection of how those that accept everything on TV as truth (Reality) ties right into this analogy.
