shows we love :: fuerza bruta

Those of you who had a chance to experience De La Guarda, will agree that the least you know the better time you’ll have. Although I took some great video, I would advise you to NOT peep it until after you see the show. For this reason, I will also describe the show with general brushstrokes. Think of a dreamlike space with worlds that intercept in water, air and moving platforms.  Thematically, it was all about celebrating and breaking through your own limitations, routines, relationships or boundaries real or imagined. It is sometimes a race against time, whether you’re running from it or running to catch up with it, all executed with passion, full expression and endless beauty. – Moni Pineda
