The FWL Update :: 8.13.09

Thank you for making this past week such a success for us. Our site is up by 160% and it’s because of you! We love all your comments, re-tweets, postings and overall support. Much appreciated!

This week we’ve got two very inspiring videos for you. There’s a great Off the Wall with French artist Invader. You’ve probably seen his work around town and smiled – there’s over 100 mosaics in NY alone! He recently had a solo show at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery where we saw his work and heard the thoughts behind it.

We’ve also got a very personal 120 Seconds with the creative director of Staple Design, Jeff Staple. He is the mastermind behind the Staple menswear line, the magazine Reed Pages & the LES destination boutique Reed Space. If you don’t know, now you know!

Friends We Love is being screened in worldwide theaters this month. Our shorts on Canadian artists K’Naan, Sol Guy, Gary Taxali & Zaki Ibrahim are being shown at the monthly Montage event in Toronto on August 13th. It’s organized by the amazing people at ManifesTO, Honour Rebel and fightingtheboss. Read more about it here.

Also, please help us spread the word to out-of-town friends about the Bicycle Film Festival which will be screening our short with Ellis G in the following cities:
