films we love :: the third & the seventh by alex roman

My good friend YK Hong sent me this film because she knew I would appreciate it. She was completely right. As I watched it, I thought it was a beautiful example of visual poetry – a term I’ve coined for non-linear, visually stunning films that evoke deep emotion. Then, I visited their site and realized that the whole film is a CG animation! WHAT!?! This bit of information just blew my mind. Alex Roman is responsible for all of the CG work, the direction and even music score, which is beautiful as well. Please watch below in full screen & let us know what you think.
