Exhibits We Love :: Aakash Nihalani @ Bose Pacia
Our talented friend Aakash Nihalani is exhibiting new works at Brooklyn’s Bose Pacia gallery with an opening reception on Thursday, November 4, 2010. This show will include many facets of his conceptual geometric expression – sculpture, photography, tape installation, painting and interactive digital imagery. Although he was initially known for his public works around NYC, in the last couple of years Aakash has transformed and transgressed the limits of “street art” into a solid exploration of his themes within a gallery setting while retaining the vibrant energy and playfulness of his earlier works. – Moni Pineda

Exhibits We Love :: Re-Creation II
Our friend Aakash Nihalani will be presenting some new works at the Re-Creation II exhibit opening this Friday evening. This will be the first time the east coast will get to see it as it was first shown a few months back at the Carmichael Gallery in Los Angeles. Needless to say there will be other great artists exhibiting so please don’t forget to RSVP.

While surfing the web in between renders today I was super stoked to find some great new pictures of our homeboy Aakash Nihalani’s new show at the Carmichael Gallery in Los Angeles. Nihalani is taking his cube game to another level! It’s been really inspiring to see his work evolving in both form and medium, over the past year as he’s introduced his geometric creations to mirrors and metal.
Art We Love :: Aakash Nihalani – Boxing in India
Aakash Nihalani, a most definite artist + friend we love recently to a trip back to his Motherland of India. Thankfully while their he taped the town red, so to speak, by adding his unique fluorescent geometric flair to the urban landscapes of New Delhi and Mumbai. Happy to see his art and ideas expanding further and further each time we check in. Great job Aakash!
