A couple of weeks ago I saw this great Frontline doc on artist, Ai Weiwei, one of China’s most prominent and outspoken artists. Since then, Ai has been arrested by the Chinese government on ‘suspicion of economic crimes’, a situation that clearly concerned him at the time of the interviews.

Our friends in Atlanta have an opportunity to attend Jung at HeART, the debut benefit for the The Creative Community Housing Project, an organization dedicated to providing affordable housing for artists and supporting community-based art initiatives and programs. Founded by artist and documentarian Neda Abhari, this is one of many exhibits that will serve as fundraisers for the CCHP. If you’re unable to attend, please donate to the cause on their Kickstarter page. – Moni Pineda
