The world famous graffiti artist and animator, Blu is at it again with his biggest, most incredible animation yet. In Big Bang Big Boom, Blu creatively utilizes all of his surroundings, using not just paint and walls, but whatever he can find, and creates this seamless, kinetic, one of a kind short film. Thanks to our good friend, artist Ian Kuali’i for the link!

The thing I LOVE most about the internet has got to be the sharing. One person creates, then another posts that creation and lastly another person takes that post and shares it. In some cases, some do all three. Case in point, BLU- who is an AMAZING artist from Bologna and is known for his very large, often surreal and aggressive but always strong pictures in the public space. His very playful and comic-style pieces often carry an ethnic, political or moral statement, yet without being patronizing.

This is by far one of the most ambitious public animations I’ve ever seen. Blu is the kind of artist that seems to have been born on another planet. We’re just happy he seems to be a friendly and creative kind of alien…
