Answer: A sweet spot on the creative process of marketing + branding an alcoholic beverage what else? There’s no denying KAWS has come a long way from revamping bus stop adverts to co-creating his own with a major like Dos Equis. Hats off to you brother for completing the “art-vertising” cycle. As you probably know by know, we are obsessed by the creative process of artists. When I stumbled upon Cliff Maynard’s Chronic Art, my mind began racing, wondering how he came up with this idea, how expensive his materials must be and how the idea is actually executed. So I went to his website, Chronic-art.com, and found out that the idea came when he was studying mosaics and his roach paper reminded him of tiles. I’m not quite sure how expensive his materials are, but he says that he cuts about 3 ’tiles’ from each roach with an Xacto knife. Then, he creates these complex puzzles that eventually become the pieces you see below.

Luxirare is one of those sites that sparks my imagination, makes me highly inquisitive and keeps me coming back for more. But how could I not with the tag line “Killer Clothes + Fine Cuisine”! This weekly webzine takes you through the creative process and execution of decadently beautiful recipes and sinfully gorgeous clothing design by way of crisp photography and witty entries that include the bits of inspiration that birth each project. My mouth often waters and my eyes melt in pure delight.

Here’s a couple of my favorites: the “bento box” (edible art with great design, color, texture & flavor) + the “chain jacket” inspired by the YSL cage boots (simply sexy). I hope these photos peak your interest and immediately lead you to her site. You won’t be disappointed!
