To me, there are few better ways to spend time than going to the movies. To make things more exciting, HBO and Bryant Park are hosting a summer-long free movie series, every Monday until August 23rd. They have a great set of movies lined up for the summer, with classics from Goldfinger to 12 Angry Men. So grab your friends and head over to Bryant Park on Monday nights this summer!

Our friends at Afro-Punk have put together their most impressive line-up to date and it’s all happening this weekend. Not only will there be performances by Bad Brains, Mos Def, Game Rebellion, K OS & J*Davey, but there’s also skate clinics by our friends at Open Road as well as BMX and skate contests for big prizes! This year The Bicycle Film Festival celebrates their 10th Anniversary by joining forces with Anonymous Gallery for their Joyride Art Show. The event goes down today at the Dash Gallery with a long list of great artists exhibiting all kinds of bicycle-inspired works. Make sure to get tickets for the festival going down this weekend. Pablo Mayor announces the seventh annual Encounter of Colombian Musicians in New York, Saturday, June 18 through Sunday, June 19. This year’s festival includes special guests of honor, legendary Colombian vocalist Totó la Momposina with her Artistic Director and son, Marco Vinicio Oyaga.
