Exhibits We Love :: LA vs WAR

This weekend, peace loving artists, DJs and performers come together for the three day exhibit, LA vs War II: Art for Peace in the Hope Era, commemorating 9/11 and the decade that has passed. Friends We Love is proud to participate on Friday night with Moni DJing a set at 9:30 culminating with a buto performance. Some of our favorite artist will be presenting works that express our collective desire and commitment to peace including, John Carr (who is a curator of this exhibit), Yuri Shimojo, Chaz Bojorquez, DJ Lucha and Favianna Rodriguez. The DJ line up is also impressive with MdCL, Anthony Valadez, B+, Coleman, Seano, Monalisa, Kristi Lomax and Lady Sha among many others. This will be an all-ages event with a $5 suggested donation at The Vortex (2341 E. Olympic Blvd. LA 90021).
