We had the pleasure and honor of filming a 120 Seconds with Femi Kuti last night just before he hit the stage at El Rey for his Africa for Africa tour. The edit is coming soon but in the meantime, take a look at some of Moni’s photos from the show. The man is a musical genius with a message of unity, awareness, peace and cooperation not only for Africa, but for all of us.

Dan Black ft. Kid Cudi – “Symphonies” | I peeped this video the other day and I can’t figure how it’s managed to stay somewhat below the radar- This joint is off the hook! I’m a sucker for opening credits/title sequences and this one takes the cake, the candles and a few of the gifts. Well done!

The good folks at WNYC asked me to make a mix for their Social Mixer series and I happily obliged. This is a mix I’ve been meaning to record for some time because it has all the songs that keep me motivated when I rarely make it to the gym. It’s got some older tracks & some new goodies that make you wanna get up & move! It’s a combination of uptempo Brazilian rhythms laced with some deep bass and a touch of electro. Read the article on WNYC & listen to the mix or you can also download it on our new Podomatic account to enjoy it any time, any place!
