Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturday on June 5 featuring Friends We Love’s own Moni! Enjoy an evening of art, fashion, music and dancing with the whole community for FREE!
The Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturdays event attracts thousands of visitors to free programs of art and entertainment each month. Visitors to June’s event are invited to dress in their most stylish outfits in celebration of the special exhibition American High Style: Fashioning a National Collection. Highlights of the evening include a swing era jazz performance by the J. C. Hopkins Biggish Band, a vogue dance contest hosted by Archie Burnett of the House of Ninja, a performance by Evidence Dance Company, a screening of the film Funny Face starring Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire, and a house and soul dance party with DJ Moni of Friends We Love.
