We’ve gotten a few emails regarding Hot 97′s new “97 Seconds” webisodes looking a whole hell of a lot like our 120 Seconds videos. If you didn’t know by now, our mission with Friends We Love is to inspire the world one video at a time. We’ll leave it up to you to decide the level of Hot 97′s inspiration. Either way, it’s good to hear that Kanye finally got his own tailor. Go Hot 97!

The Jonathan LeVine Gallery is presenting two wonderful artists this month whom FWL has had the pleasure of filming for our Off the Wall collaborative series with Babelgum, Tara McPherson & Xiaoqing Ding. Both artists draw inspiration from a myriad of world mythologies, legends and folklore enriching each painting with a vibrant narrative for the viewer to explore. Music We Love :: MOS DUB – Mos Def Dub Remix by Max Tannone
One of our favorite things about creating a site solely based around the things that inspire us, is the ripple effect. Creative karma is a beautiful thing, and because of it we’ve been receiving all kinds of amazing art in a wide array of mediums from films, to photos to music.
This week we received an email from Producer Max Tannone about a new mix he’d created called MOS DUB. In short, it’s a mix of some of Mos Def’s joints set to a dub reggae vibe. Another simple idea done very well. Needless to say as a serious fan of both Mos + Dub music I couldn’t hit the play button fast enough. I’m sure everyone including my neighbors are happy that Max sent over that MOS DUB mix. We hope you and your neighbors enjoy it as much as we do…

Luxirare is one of those sites that sparks my imagination, makes me highly inquisitive and keeps me coming back for more. But how could I not with the tag line “Killer Clothes + Fine Cuisine”! This weekly webzine takes you through the creative process and execution of decadently beautiful recipes and sinfully gorgeous clothing design by way of crisp photography and witty entries that include the bits of inspiration that birth each project. My mouth often waters and my eyes melt in pure delight.
Here’s a couple of my favorites: the “bento box” (edible art with great design, color, texture & flavor) + the “chain jacket” inspired by the YSL cage boots (simply sexy). I hope these photos peak your interest and immediately lead you to her site. You won’t be disappointed!
