Talk about a man on a mission… I recently caught Jamie Oliver’s speech at the TED conference and was absolutely BLOWN away. First at the severity of the situation, and secondly at Jamie’s sheer determination to roll up his sleeves and make a difference. His energy and a passion is infectious- After watching it I kept thinking about the impact a speech can have when you wholeheartedly believe in your mission. This is something we all need to watch and learn from sooner than later…

I read this article last night right before I closed my laptop to go to bed. It struck me that mornings in many American households begin as they do for me – first stop online. I had a similar realization last week when a friend from out of town who was stayin on the couch opened his laptop seconds after he openend his eyes. I thought that this was a symptom of technology that was only afflicting me. Now I see that it’s reached families and even little kids!
