Somali MC and musician K’Naan was in town from Canada shooting a music video for his upcoming single “ABCs” with none other than Chubb Rock! We had a great time getting to know K’Naan and we think you will too. He blew our minds with his views on language as a cultural carrier and it’s use within colonization. K’Naan has collaborated with Youssou N’Dour, Mos Def, Nelly Furtado, M1 from Dead Prez and other great artists. Make sure you look out for his upcoming album, Troubadour.
