Ava Duvernay’s documentary, “This Is the Life,” illuminates the influential and pertinent L.A. based hip-hop scene in the early 90′s. The Good Life health food store, run by Bea Hall became a venue for citywide youth to express their musical expressions and creativity in a positive atmosphere.
