The best part of embarking on a web series about art is meeting new artists. About a year ago I came across an article in New York Magazine about a young crazy razor blade swinging street artist. His name was Poster Boy. Luckily for me the article included his Flickr page and away I went clicking. After seeing a pretty impressive body of work all created out of subway adverts, I decided to reach out.

It had been a minute since our last game of catch up with so much happening on both sides of the table. Poster Boy NYC has been described as a kind of anti-consumerist Zorro with a razor blade. Preferring to remain anonymous Poster Boy NYC is said to be a group or movement who use razor blades to cut out and re-arrange elements of billboard images on the New York Subway to make both political and satirical statements about contemporary issues.
