As the creators of a web series the one thing we get asked the most is: “How do you guys get money?” There are probably as many ways to secure a stack of cheddar as there are web series currently in production. In other words there are no formulas, but for all you budding web series creators the next best thing may be getting a Kickstarter account and working on a kick-ass presentation. I came across this article a while back and felt like sharing it with everyone thinking about jumping into the ever exciting world of creating a web series.

Our good friend Fiona Bloom is producing Import / Export, a truly international hip hop showcase during this year’s CMJ in NYC. The event takes place at 92YTribeca on Thursday, October 21, 2010. This year’s event will feature a handful of rising stars hosted by Canada’s sensation, Eternia. Emmanuel Jal from Sudan, Philemon from France, Sagol 59 from Israel, Erin Barra from NY, BAB Collective (Debut) LidoLido from Norway and a grime set from UK’s DJ Logan Sama.
