Music We Love :: MdCL EP vol. 1, Especial Records

Music We Love :: MdCL EP vol. 1, Especial Records

I was just blessed with Mark de Clive Lowe’s new EP out on vinyl from Especial Records, one of my favorite labels out of Japan. The last thing I wanted was to have to wait til I get home to my turntables to hear these tracks. So I checked them out here in the meantime. The track with Bembe, Dreams, is right up my alley – percussive, sassy and Segue-fied. It’s super tasty and a sure banger for my sets. The remix of “Common Ground” has a deep house bounce with jazz elements and soulful vocals. Unfortunately the preview of Sandra St Victor’s Cosmos was unavailable, so I’ll have to report back next week when I can play it on my system.
